Starting with my son, I want to thank all those veterans serving our county, past & present. Their sacrifice and the pain endured by their families is a debt we all owe for all time.

My son, Nathan, and his wife Virginia.

Each member of the military has paid more than shows on the surface; it goes unseen, but the fact remains.

We send them off one way, the person we’ve known and loved for many years and then, sadly, witness them return home changed. Some different from others. We must be there for them to help ease them back into civilian society and help to heal not only their physical wounds, but their mental and emotion ones as well.

It’s our time to serve them!

Especially on Veterans Day, but certainly on every day, we must honor our veterans not just in our thoughts and prayers, but by our actions as well. We need to reach out to these men and women; listen to them; help in whatever way we can; there is no help too small! Let’s cook them a meal, provide a warm bed and shower, help them to find work, and most of all…let us be a friend who is there for them in their time of need, and one who will not judge.

My mom says my daddy will be home soon, he’s getting the help he needs. He’s served our country in two wars. Please pray for him!

Patriotic love to all. God bless America, God bless the USA and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!

We will never forget what you have done and what you continue to do for our country!
