While I’m Still Here
Love me now, while I’m still here…
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, I may be gone my dear…
So tell me those things that you’ve longed to say,
those thoughts held deep inside each and every day.
Hold me now while you still can,
walk with me and hold my hand.
Let’s visit the waters that flow so free;
let’s look into each other’s eyes, yes you and me!
Let’s sit in the garden of forgiveness and set our souls free,
there’s no better time than now, or else it may never be.
Kiss me now, for the end could be nigh;
let’s laugh and sing and even cry.
For when I’m gone this time will end,
there may only be regrets, and they are no man’s friend.
