Breakfast in a glass: You’ve all heard me talk about my breakfast smoothies! They are perfect when you’re on the run! They’re fast, easy, and portable! Get creative and get healthy! Try using nuts, silken tofu, soy yogurt, or soy beverages in your smoothies, turning them into a protein boost which will help you get through to lunchtime!
Today’s Recipe Is:
Mango Mint Smoothie – 1 serving
1 small, very ripe mango
4 large strawberries
1/2 cup apple juice
6 fresh spearmint leaves
1/2 to 1 cup crushed ice – if desired
Peel the mango, remove and discard the pit, and chop the fruit coarsely. Process all the ingredients in a blender until smooth! Enjoy!
